A Southern girl's view of the world... I adore all things shabby, chippy, southern, and wonderful. I absolutely LOVE to go junking for treasures. We try to live frugally and fruitfully. I absolutely LOVE pink roses, daisies, and sweet (green) tea.
Some of my favorite vintage goodies are vintage sheets and linens, vintage hankies, old glass doorknobs and antique hardware, vintage pink Pyrex, quilts, china and teacups with roses on them, old sepia family photos, and blue Mason jars.
Some of my most prized vintage possessions are my Memaw's "Rose of Lamberton" china (along with the various pieces of rose-covered tableware I have been collecting since inheriting her china), my Nana's 4-piece Pyrex mixing bowl set and her set of copper Jello molds that she bought with war stamps, my collection of Christmas ornaments, and an antique quilt made by my husband's great-grandmother using feed sacks - all of which I will introduce you to via this blog!
In addition to sharing vintage finds and junking treasures, I will be sharing southern charm and
down-home favorites for the home, garden, and kitchen, including recipes and ramblings with a Southern drawl yall!
